Wilderness Resort: We just returned from a 3 day mini vacation to the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. Water parks are not everyone's cup of tea (including my trooper of a husband), but I LOVE doing a summer activity in the middle of winter. There's nothing like jumping in a wave pool while it's snowing outside. As chance would have it, Bloomington temps were in the high 60's while we were gone, but we had fun nonetheless. I'll give full commentary of our trip in case anyone thinks this life of homeschoolers gallivanting through Wisconsin in the middle of the week, eating funnel cakes the size of our heads is all rainbows and sunshine. It was fun and I'll always choose an adventure with my family over almost anything, but having a 3 year old, 5 year old, 7 year old, and a pair of 30 somethings can sometimes have it's mishaps.
