I apologize for not being regular with our blog! We have been so busy lately. I'll do my best to play catch-up.
Isla has been learning so much lately! I swear she picks something new up every day. Michael gets home and we have a new trick to show him pretty regularly.
For starters, we had the STRANGEST Halloween. We got several inches of snow and didn't go trick-or-treating because of that. We dressed her up for a picture and called it good! We were ready for Christmas to start anyway.
Then midnight struck and the Christmas season began. We decorated November 1st and so far, Isla has been very good with the decorations! We only put the soft ornaments up this year and didn't pull out half of our decorations.
Isla has her own little tree too, just in case she needs to decorate and undecorate!
Don't worry, we haven't forgotten Thanksgiving. She has a little thematic play space with pumpkins and a cornucopia of food. Her sensory bins are also filled with pinecones and turkey feathers.
This month, Isla was dedicated at church. We were so excited to finally celebrate her life and make a promise to raising her in the Lord.
Here are some other random pictures from the last couple weeks:
She really likes yoga.
This was a wooden nativity from my classroom. She loves playing with the pieces. Currently, Mary is hiding somewhere and we can't find her anywhere.
Grabbing coffee with mama! We usually do this a few times a week :) The workers at the Coffee Hound LOVE Isla.
More yoga.
She found this "dog dog" at TJ Maxx and we had to stand here for 10 minutes while she hugged it.
