February Recap 2022

 It is slowly starting to feel like spring. But I just know winter is not over. So I'm trying to soak up as much sunshine as possible lately. We have been spending the last two months hibernating away at home and it's making us all feel miserable. But cold weather does not offer many activities or opportunities to socialize. And it's definitely been impacting us! Everyone seems a little grouchy and irritable, so I'm hoping the warm weather takes care of that for us. 

Most of our days have been spent at home. We paint, craft, read, cook, play, and go a little stir crazy. The first half of the month was spent playing in lots of snow. It seemed like every other day was another winter storm. The kids always make sure to get cocoa out of the deal though :)

We have also spent a lot of time baking and crafting. Isla and Ewan are into both activities and often ask to bake or craft daily. 

We've been able to spend time with friends/cousin outside and a little bit inside. I think all of our friends have been hibernating too. So it's been nice for us all to get together again!

Because we spent so much of our time inside lately, getting out feels like a treat. We try to do something out and about at least once a week. We love the nature preserve, zoo, music class, the library, and parks!

Otherwise, you can find the kids playing, playing, playing, a little arguing, and more playing! We are really looking forward to warmer weather and more activities!
